Abu Dhabi - WAM has launched the first episode of the 'Contributions of Muslim Scientists' series, coinciding with an initiative that celebrates the civilizational role of Muslim scientists throughout the ages and highlights their pioneering scientific contributions to Islamic civilization, which formed the foundation for many modern sciences. The initiative aligns with the UAE's vision of preserving human cultural heritage and extends the cultural mission embodied by the 'Nour wa Salaam' museum at the center, which serves as a platform to introduce the world to the depth of Islamic civilization and its human values. The inaugural episode of the series provides an introductory overview, offering viewers a clear understanding of the initiative's goals and its civilizational messages, while focusing on the first phase, which covers the contributions of Muslim scientists in astronomy and mathematics. The center will continue to produce and release episodes of the series to highlight the leading role of Islamic civilization in enriching the scientific movement throughout history, to introduce the achievements of Muslim scientists in various fields of knowledge, and to document this heritage in a contemporary and engaging manner for diverse audiences. The center is implementing this project through highly efficient national cadres who have leveraged their expertise in employing artificial intelligence technologies in designing and producing content, reflecting the high quality of the production and embodying the civilizational messages of the series. This includes featuring a narrator character representing Emirati identity and showcasing scenes that evoke the cultural and historical context of Islamic civilization by blending the spirit of the past with the present in an interactive narrative format. The center continues to produce and release episodes of the series to highlight the leading role of Islamic civilization in enriching the scientific movement throughout history.
